Inscape Tasmania

I am a founding Board Member for Inscape Tasmania; a not for profit organisation that places artists and musicians into the Royal Hobart Hospital. It’s an exciting collaboration between the hospital administrators and staff, patients and families and artists, who are trained to work closely with those who find themselves in hospital. My role is to support the practitioners and develop campaigns to invite investment in the program. The response from hospital nursing staff and doctors, patients and families and the artists has been extremely positive and demand for more insight arts is continuing to increase.

Thank You Tasmania

Our “Thank You” song is a gift from Inscape Tasmania to those working and supporting the Tasmanian health service. We can't be there at the moment due to restrictions with the Coronavirus, so this is our way of sending our love and gratitude.

Inscape is a not for profit arts organisation that has been operating in the Royal Hobart Hospital since 2015; running music and art programs for patients, their families and the staff. We love what we do and are so grateful to every single person who contributes to providing care to Tasmanians in hospital; the medical, nursing and allied health teams, all the support and ancillary staff, managers, administrative staff and volunteers.

This original song is a Thank You from Inscape Tasmania, our Board, visual artists and musicians. It was written by Hannah Irawan and recorded by Will Parsell, two of our wonderful musicians who are often seen at the bedside of patients at the RHH, or in the foyers of many health services. The images are from Inscape artists, Jenny Masters and Alyssa Bermudez and the animation is from Tiff Norchick. We thank them enormously for making this happen.
