I was so proud to work with so many young and emerging artists across Tasmania in my role as Curator for the Tasmanian Portraiture Prize. I was involved with the prize for more than five years and came on board in 2015 as the Curator to manage the artists, judges, galleries and work with the team at RACT Insurance to create a fantastic annual exhibition that toured from Hobart, to Launceston and onto the North West.  It was very sad to see it close this year, however, I am sure that something else will emerge for our young Tasmanian artists who have such incredible artistic skills.
